The 5th Edition of e-SALON to Offer the Largest Clean Mobility Presentation in Its History
The already 5th edition of the successful e-SALON Trade Fair, which is to take place from 9 to 12 November 2023 at the PVA EXPO Prague Exhibition Centre in Letňany, will offer the historically richest participation of eco-mobility, i.e., electric, hybrid and other environment-friendly vehicles and means of transport.

The 4th edition of the successful e-SALON Trade Fair, which is to take place from 10 to 13 November 2022 at the PVA EXPO Prague Exhibition Centre in Letňany, will offer the historically richest participation of green mobility, i.e., electric, hybrid and other environment-friendly vehicles and means of transport.

Professionals and the general public will meet at the most important event in the field of clean mobility in the Czech Republic at the PVA EXPO PRAGUE from 11 to 14 November 2021. New models from renowed world car manufacurers, other vehicles for alternative drives as well as super-powerful charging technologies will be presented at the exhibition center in Letňany. An accompanying programme, an integral part of the trade fair, will include test drives, professional lectures, workshops and the SMART CITIES conference. The opening day of the trade fair will traditionally belong to the media and professionals, and the e-SALON will be opened to the general public a day later. The general partner of the trade fair is ČEZ Group.

Test drives will be organised, like last year, almost by each of the car manufacturing companies
The results of sales of electric cars for the first half of 2019 in Europe confirm the advent of modern environment-friendly technologies. Almost 260,000 customers have bought an electric car in the EU Member States and EFTA countries. This figure accounts for 2.7 % of the total market for passenger cars. Electric cars appear to gradually squeeze out plug-in hybrids, when they accounted for 68% of the market for vehicles using power supply sockets. Last year they accounted for 51% only.
Tesla has dominated in Europe
The most successful brand on the Old Continent has been the U.S.-based Tesla company this year, thanks to its innovative model known as Tesla 3. Already more than 40,000 drivers have purchased this car in 2019. It means that on leading positions it has replaced such brands as Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf 40kWh (28,257 and 19,206 cars sold, respectively). The largest market for electric cars is still Germany, where almost 50,000 electric cars have been sold. The second place belongs to Norway with 44,000 cars and the third one to France with 32,000 electric cars sold.
The largest and best supplied clean mobility trade fair in Central Europe is in tune with the times.
The successful premiere of the trade fair for clean mobility entitled “e-SALON 2018” will be followed up at the PVA EXPO PRAGUE Exhibition Centre in Letňany by its second edition. It will be held from 14 to 17 November 2019. The visitors can look forward to premieres of new environment-friendly cars as well as other means of clean mobility on an extended exhibition area.
Volkswagen has confirmed the name of the first model of the new ID. family, which is to be officially introduced for the first time in the world at the International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt. The new electric car will be presented under the ID.3 mark.

The Kia automobile company has announced completion of the development of the technology of the setting of capacity parameters on the basis of the pairing of a smartphone with an electric car. This means that the driver will be able to adapt key functions through an application installed in the smartphone.

Preparations for the second edition of the successful Clean Mobility Trade Fair held in Prague Letňany are already fully underway.
The successful first run of e-SALON in 2018 will be followed up at the PVA Exhibition Centre in Prague Letňany by its second edition.
